It’s a tough task for the Cards. Their defense isn’t very good, and they’ve got a rookie running the show at quarterback in QB Kyler Murray. He’s a fantastic young prospect with upside, and tonight should be a good test for him. Obviously though, the investment the Cards made in him was one for the future and not necessarily in Year 1. Just ask Jared Goff.
As for the Niners, they just keep rolling. They trounced the Carolina Panthers last week. They shut out the Washington Points Not Scorers two weeks ago. We don’t need to talk about the game before that one. They’ve won their last four games by a combined score of 111-23.
If Kyler can get something going early, hopefully we’ll get a game here and see if the home team can pull the NFC West leaders back down a bit.
