If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen a million — aerial views of the Los Angeles Rams new home, SoFi Stadium, captured by the owner of an iPhone from 35,000 feet. But if you’ve been hoping for more than flyover view of SoFi, you’re in luck. Thanks to Drone World (via YouTube), you can get an up-close look at the progress.

The Rams broke ground on the multi-billion dollar site, which will be shared with the Los Angeles Chargers, in November 2016 and is on schedule to be opened next Summer in time for kickoff of the 2020 NFL season.

A bit about the stadium, from SoFi’s Kristi Mexia:

Opening summer 2020, SoFi Stadium is the centerpiece of Hollywood Park, a 298-acre world-class sports and entertainment destination being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. SoFi Stadium will hold year-round sports and entertainment events and will be the host of Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football National Championship game in 2023, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2028 Olympic Games.

Country music stars Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney already have dates set at SoFi next July/August, and a full schedule of events can be found here.
