The Los Angeles Rams are headed to ATL to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. They’re doing so with their star running back and newest cornerback per the injury report:

RB Todd Gurley and CB Jalen Ramsey are both good to go, but backup RB Malcolm Brown is doubtful so he’s unlikely to play. And who knows what balance Head Coach Sean McVay will strike (a) in terms of the run/pass disparity and (b) to share the burden between Gurley and rookie RB Darrell Henderson, Jr.
As for the Falcons, they got good news across the board except for one very crucial corner:

Over at the Falcoholic, the SB Nation community for fans of the Falcons, they had this to say about missing CB Desmond Trufant (spelling error on the injury report aside):
The Falcons defense is bad. Very bad. Indescribably bad. It will now be missing one of their top defenders against the Los Angeles Rams and their inconsistent but lethal offense.
It was suggested the Falcons would move Isaiah Oliver out of the starting lineup after Trufant returned. That is not happening so the struggling Oliver will start across from rookie Kendall Sheffield.
The Rams have arguably one of the top wide receiver trios in the NFL with Connor Kupp, Robert Woods, and Brandin Cooks, forcing teams to produce three quality defensive backs to try to keep them in check. With Damontae Kazee still struggling at nickel, this has the makings of a disaster. That’s right, another disaster.
Trufant may have had a few bad plays but has still been the best player in the secondary this season. His loss will be huge. Atlanta’s best hope is to pressure Jared Goff or else he could become the third player to win the Offensive Player of the Week against the Falcons defense in as many weeks.
If you have any of the Rams pass catchers in fantasy football, I’d strongly recommend you starting them regardless of your other options.
Inactives will be out roughly an hour prior to kickoff.
