Where were you on February 3, 2002?
Were you at home hanging out with family? Were you over at a buddy’s house? Were you at the local bar? Were you inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome? Were you even born?
Where were you when Adam Vinatieri punched a 48-yard field goal through the uprights making the New England Patriots winners of Super Bowl XXXVI and breaking the hearts of St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams fans all over the globe?
It’s a rhetorical question, really. You either do remember it, or you don’t. And it’s fine either way. But for those of you who do recall that day - that moment - this upcoming Sunday marks a time to exact revenge.
In the NFC Championship game about a week and a half ago, while on the road against the New Orleans Saints, the Rams walked away victors in that exact same setting...and in very similar fashion. Greg Zuerlein hit a 57-yard field goal in overtime that ended the game and provided them an opportunity at the Lomarbi this Sunday.
The question is simple. Regardless of whether you still lose sleep from February 3, 2002 or not...how would you prefer to see the Rams exact revenge this Sunday? Vote below (sorry Google Amp and Apple News users, you’ll just have to share your sentiments in the comments section)
