On Sunday, Los Angeles Rams K Greg Zuerlein nailed a 48-yard field goal against the New Orleans Saints with 15 seconds remaining to tie the game. Minutes later, he drilled a 57-yarder to win the game in overtime.

Today, Zuerlein was listed with a left foot injury on the initial injury report for Super Bowl LIII against the New England Patriots:

Greg Zuerlein K Left foot DNP
Blake Countess S Foot DNP

It should be noted, the injury report comes with the following disclaimer:

The Rams had a players’ day off Wednesday. The report is an estimation of what participation would have been for a full practice.

So let’s not freak out completely just yet. Just partially.

Rams Head Coach Sean McVay is not available to the media today, but he is scheduled to hold a press conference tomorrow at 5:05pm ET/2:05pm PT. I’m sure we’ll get an update on both Zuerlein and S Blake Countess then.

As for the Pats, their injury report was blank today.

More to come tomorrow.
