Los Angeles Rams to wear throwbacks in Superbowl 53

You read that right, the Los Angeles Rams (NFC) are the defacto home team in Superbowl 53, allowing them to choose which uniform combination they please.

The choice is the legendary throwbacks which we all love oh so much:

Now, we’re starting to see some parallels with the Rams’ only Superbowl victory, Superbowl XXXIV.

First, both Superbowls are/were played in Atlanta, lining up perfectly for the Rams to repeat history. Second, the Rams will once again be rocking throwbacks, though they wore the white/yellow rendition in Superbowl XXXIV. In Superbowl 53, the Rams will be wearing the blue/yellow home combination.
