When Andrew Whitworth left the field in the third quarter with an injury, the Rams’ season seemed to flash before their eyes, momentarily at least. However, rookie stand-in Joseph Noteboom did a nice job landing the ship in Whitworth’s absence, giving Rams fans hope for the future of the left tackle position. Despite Noteboom’s success, the Rams are currently feeling fortunate that Whitworth’s dinged knee doesn’t appear to be much of a concern for the playoffs.
