With only four teams left in the NFL playoffs, mock draft season will only continue to ramp up as most teams start their preparation to add new talent.
Fortunately, the Los Angeles Rams are one of the four teams left, preparing to take on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game.
PFF released their third edition of their mock draft and to no surprise, they project the Rams to look for EDGE help, selected small school (Old Dominion) EDGE, Oshane Ximines.
30. LOS ANGELES RAMS – OSHANE XIMINES, EDGE, ODU
There’s room for extra juice off the edge, and that’s what Ximines provides for the Rams. He posted the No. 3 pass-rush grade among edge defenders at 91.7, notching 55 total pressures on only 348 rush attempts last season.

Ximines is a senior that exploded for 12 sacks this past season. He stood out in Old Dominion’s monumental upset over the Virginia Tech Hokies with seven tackles, including two sacks.
While it is early to start thinking about draft prospects for the Rams with a playoff run still in the midst, it’s always better to be prepared than sorry.
