Los Angeles Rams at Oakland Raiders: Initial injury report sets up first injury concerns of the season

It’s not a long injury report. But it is an interesting one.

Here we go.

The Los Angeles Rams are set to open the 2018 regular season by heading up north to take on the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 on Monday Night Football.

With the game pushed back a day, practices were as well. And so it was that the Rams got in a late practice today which meant a late initial injury report:

Not a long injury report, but a major concern there obviously. As strong as the RB depth chart is, seeing RB Justin Davis limited perhaps isn’t all that notable. But for ILB Mark Barron to still be out with a designated ankle injury knowing he’s been carrying various ailments since last year and (a) didn’t practice at all, (b) didn’t play in the preseason at all and (c) was limited throughout the entire offseason process including training camp does merit legitimate worry.

Really though, it just comes down to Friday. Even if he doesn’t participate in practice, it’ll be his game designation that matters.

For the Raiders, they have a much longer report:
