The Los Angeles Rams (3-0) will host the Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1) on Thursday Night Football in Week 4. It should make for a fantastic match between two teams that many expect to make a deep run into the playoffs, and potentially represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
Now, for a guy like me who lives on the east coast, getting ready for an 8:20pm start is no problem. I can finish up my work, run to the store, get the beer on ice, gear up, and have a cornucopia of snacks available well before kickoff. For Rams fans who intend on heading to the stadium to support the Rams, however, that’s a little bit trickier considering the game starts at 5:20.
Don’t sweat it. Head coach Sean McVay is getting you a get-out-of-work-early pass for Thursday. Simply show this memo the Rams printed as a full-page ad in the LA Times, complete with Wade Phillips zing, to your employer and feel free to take off a few hours early. McVay, and the Rams, appreciate your support. WHOSE HOUSE?!
