After the Los Angeles Rams host the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, they will then host their cross-town rival Los Angeles Chargers. Looking at the team in the preseason, the one player on the Chargers that jumps out on the roster is superstar DE Joey Bosa, the 23-year-old Ohio State product that has already carved out an impressive career in just two seasons. It seemed that his nagging foot bruise that kept him out last week wasn’t that serious, but then head coach Anthony Lynn said this:
"He's week to week but he'll probably be gone for the next couple weeks ..." -Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn talking Joey Bosa on @SiriusXMNFL.

Not good.
This is a huge loss for the Chargers and the impact was already felt in their week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs — they just couldn’t get any pressure on the quarterback (Patrick Mahomes ended up throwing 4 TD passes). Bosa is their undisputed leader on the defense.
The absence of the 37th ranked player in the NFL looks to be quite the advantage for the Rams’ offense. And since the announcement is coming several weeks earlier, Coach McVay has time to gameplan — how will the Rams exploit this hole in the Chargers defense?
We at TST don’t wish any injuries on any player because they’re human beings and so are we (technically). That being stated, this is a game of inches and without Joey Bosa on the field, the Rams may have caught a lucky break.
