The Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens wrapped up their final joint training camp practice today.
While there were some minor scuffles and whatnot, a true fight didn’t break out. More than anything, that speaks to the overriding culture among both teams and the experience of the coaches. The Southern California News Group’s Rich Hammond summed it up well:
Temperature at Rams-Ravens practice went down a bit today but tempers rose, with a few minor scrums. No punches, etc., and nothing involving Talib/Crabtree. Your standard “it’s hot and we’re tired of each other” stuff.

Injuries
Nothing on our side. The Ravens picked up some knocks, but they’ve got two days to rest up.
Put it like this. The last two days are the kinds of days you want in camp. No major injuries to threaten the season for your starters and nothing to derail the guys trying to make the roster over the course of camp and the preseason.
Offense
Jared Goff begins a drive with completions to Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks. Next play both Matt Judon and Za’Darius Smith ‘sack’ the quarterback. Whitworth is not in on the first-team drill.

Next play Tavon Young sacks the QB. Teams traded blows.
With Andrew Whitworth on the sideline, Matt Judon’s produced three ‘sacks’ during this drill. He and Za’Darius Smith are in the backfield far too quickly.

Mentioned it in the live thread yesterday, but I’m really interested in the line development over the next month moreso than anything else on offense.
Defense
Tons on the Ravens’ O vs. our defense today from our friends over at Baltimore Beatdown, the SB Nation community for fans of the Ravens. Recommend checking their Twitter account for a full rundown. Good stuff.
But man...you gotta love CB Aqib Talib.
Aqib Talib and Michael Crabtree had no issues during two days of practice.

“That shit dead,” Talib said.
The Rams kickoff the preseason against the Ravens on Thursday night.
Finally...Rams football.
