Los Angeles Rams sign RB Larry Rose

The Rams bring back Rose after waiving him earlier in the offseason.

With the preseason coming to a quick close, the Los Angeles Rams have signed RB Larry Rose:

This move signals a need at RB because of a likely benching of many players in the final game of the preseason. Todd Gurley won’t play, and it’s probably safe to assume that Malcolm Brown and John Kelly wont either. That leaves just Justin Davis, though Davis hasn’t been able to participate in the past two games with a groin injury, and Nick Holley on the RB depth chart.

Rose initially signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. The Rams then scooped him up in May, but waived him a month later.

The addition of Rose likely means he’ll receive some work in this fourth preseason game as a “camp body”. It’s an ideal situation for both teams, because Rose will get some work to put on tape and is also familiar with the Rams as he spent some time with the team.
