The Los Angeles Rams are good. And ticket and merchandise sales are on the rise as a result.

Despite the fact that Los Angeles Rams’ fans may not see the team’s star players much - if at all - during the 2018 preseason, excitement surrounding the upcoming year continues to grow as we inch toward Week 1.

Having made an abrupt about-face under head coach Sean McVay last year, the reigning NFC West champs look to be in for an even bigger year in 2018. Some even feel the Rams have the goods to make it all the way to the Super Bowl.

And Rams’ fans eagerness is reflected in the sales. StubHub, in conjunction with eBay, recently published their second annual NFL preview. The results display that Rams’ fans are very enthusiastic about the impending season, and are willing to open up their wallets to support their favorite team.

Top 10 most in-demand teams

The Rams land at No. 10 on StubHub’s regular season ticket sales rankings — just behind the Seattle Seahawks and four spots behind divisional foe San Francisco 49ers. It’s an impressive jump for the Rams, who dropped in at No. 21 this time last year.

Top fantasy players based on eBay sales volume

Running backs rule the list, and Rams’ rusher - and reigning Offensive Player of the Year - Todd Gurley lands at No. 6 on StubHub’s list, which ranks players based on eBay sales volume.

Additionally, eBay has some more in-depth results based on their own sales and search volume. Of note, the Rams - who rank 6th on ESPN’s power rankings - land at No. 25 for eBay search volume. The Los Angeles Chargers land dead last for both search and sales volume. Whose house?!

Top 10 most in-demand NFL games of 2018

The Rams have no shortage of exciting match-ups this season, with five primetime games on their slate and a rematch against the reigning Super Bowl champions. But based on StubHub sales figures, fans aren’t looking forward to any of those contests as much as they are the Rams Week 8 game when they host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The good news for Rams’ fans is that they’ll also be watching them for less than half of what folks are paying to see the Packers in New England.

Trending NFL teams

Based on a five year analysis of StubHub’s ticket sales, no team in the NFL has seen a higher increase in ticket sales than the LA Rams (120%). That comes as no surprise considering the Rams, aside from last season, were incapable of eclipsing the seven win hurdle. Ticket sales are up 84% from last year.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ fans are...buying a lot more tickets than last year.
