While the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens are underway to officially kick off the preseason, training camp is still front and center for most teams including the Los Angeles Rams. And of course things are unusually focused for the Rams who take on those Ravens a week from today for the Rams’ preseason opener.
And now...the news.
Injuries
The Rams have a trio of injured players right now in S Lamarcus Joyner, TE Gerald Everett and EDGE Matt Longacre:
McVay said Gerald Everett has a shoulder injury, severity TBD. Joyner has Achilles soreness. Longacre has biceps injury.

It’s something to track with sincerity now with just three practices remaining until the preseason opener: Saturday in LA and Tuesday and Wednesday in Baltimore.
Offense
Defense
Wasn’t a ton coming out today, but that’s how it often is when you hit the midpoint.
A couple of tweets like this:
Nice little wheel route hook up between #Rams Jared Goff and Todd Gurley for a 70 yard TD

#Rams Jared Goff heating up in 11 on 11 drills - a 30 yard completion to Robert Woods followed by dropping a 50 yard pass to Michael Thomas for a TD. Strong session for Woods who also had another 30 yard reception from Goff
