LB Junior Galette is visiting the LA Rams on Sunday, per source.
Also, former Rams and Broncos’ CB Kayvon Webster will start visiting teams next week including the Texans, Bills, Lions.
The 30-year old pass rusher spent the last three seasons in Washington with Head Coach Sean McVay (then offensive coordinator), and current Rams assistant head coach/linebackers coach Joe Barry (who was Galette’s defensive coordinator for two years).
Galette spent two of those three seasons on injured reserve with back-to-back unfortunate Achilles tears, though he returned in 2017 with a productive season as a pass-rushing specialist. Galette registered three sacks and a forced fumble.
Galette is an interesting (read: great) option for a Rams team looking to make a deep playoff run. They lack any true veteran presence at edge rusher with Samson Ebukam and Matt Longacre penciled-in as current starters, though Longacre has been held back thus far due to a biceps injury.
Galette has been a productive pass rusher throughout his career registering 34.5 sacks.
