For the Los Angeles Rams today at training camp, it was all quiet on the Western front (that’s the kind of top tier comedy I know you folks expect at TST).
Not a ton of chatter. Nothing from the team Twitter account. And a rest day for key offensive starters like RB Todd Gurley, LT Andrew Whitworth, LG Rodger Saffold and C John Sullivan.
But Mike had the sticks on our Instagram and had some clips in our IG Story for those interested.
Only news here was that RB Justin Davis came off the field with a team doc:

The thing to note here is that even minor issues could affect game readiness. The Rams have a day off tomorrow with practices on Wednesday and Thursday and then Friday off before the game on Saturday. So if Davis (or anyone else moving forward) has a slight injury that brings them in just under 100% for something that should be healed up in a week or less, would it be prudent to hold him out of game action?
On the flip side, CB Aqib Talib was back in action after sitting out yesterday.

Sounds like Talib was back to form today intercepting a pass from backup QB Sean Mannion:

And in case that has you wanting to go in on Mannion, note that CB Dominique Hatfield pulled one from QB Jared Goff:

Cool to see EDGE Samson Ebukam get some team media time instead of a bigger, more established name:
Off tomorrow. Back on Wednesday and Thursday and that’ll do it for training camp, folks.
