Los Angeles Rams front office approval poll: Preseason edition

The Rams have brought in a TON of talent, but have still yet to resolve the Aaron Donald situation. Where does that put them in the fan’s eyes?

The Los Angeles Rams front office has been under a ton of scrutiny since moving to Los Angeles a few years ago. The vast majority of that scrutiny is self-inflicted, but to say they’ve been under a microscope is an understatement.

Les Snead has always had a penchant for big moves. Going all the way back to the Robert Griffin III trade, he has a way of making ballsy transactions. Since the move to LA however, there has clearly been an effort by the Rams to stay in the headlines.

From the Jared Goff trade to the flashy offseason we all just experienced, the Rams are clearly trying to ‘woo’ the LA market with bold, attention grabbing transactions. Luckily for the Rams and their fans, most of those moves make sense on the football side of the house too.

Despite making the team better by bringing in quality players, their is still a huge white elephant in the room. The Rams currently have a truly transcendent talent on the roster in Aaron Donald. I don’t pretend to understand the intricacies of the negotiations, but I do understand that the Rams have paid mediocre players in the past and AD has to feel jaded that they aren’t taking care of him.

It’s hard to argue with what the front office has done, but the AD situation looms large over this team and - unfortunately for the Rams - continues to make Sean McVay’s job more difficult than it needs to be.
