Sean McVay Approval Poll: Preseason Edition

Sean McVay took the NFL by storm as a rookie - earning Coach of the Year honors. How do you view McVay as the 2018 preseason approaches?

NFL: Los Angeles Rams-Training Camp Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

You couldn’t have asked for a better rookie season for Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay. They won 11 games and the NFC West crown when they were largely expected to have a rebuilding year. Props to McVay for getting the job done in 2017.

But this is 2018.

The Rams coaching staff endured some minor changes, but there were some drastic changes on the personnel side of things. Out are Jeff Fisher holdovers Tavon Austin, Robert Quinn, Alec Ogletree, and Trumaine Johnson. Replacing them are Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, and Brandin Cooks. If McVay had his work cut out for him changing the Rams culture in 2017, he has a chore in managing personalities in 2018.

The Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Arizona Cardinals are all at varying stages of rebuilding so there is less stress from competitors. But that’s a double edged sword, because the Rams are taking no one by surprise in McVay’s 2nd season.

Is he up for the challenge? only time will tell.
