Vamos Rams Day
Practice begins at 3:00pm PT
Autographs: Running backs & Wide receivers
Today though, it’s back to training camp.
It’s Vamos Rams Day (go, marketing department, go!), so expect plenty of Spanish language-themed, uh, stuff.
Well, we’re gonna have to see.
In Baltimore, here was the official list for practice:
Physically Unable To Perform (PUP) List - Active
- DE Dominique Easley
- EDGE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo
Did Not Report (DNR) List - Reserve
- DL Aaron Donald
There is no requirement to provide an injury report for preseason games unlike the regular season. So no update there. But given that both TE Gerald Everett and EDGE Matt Longacre stayed in Los Angeles for the week dealing with a shoulder and bicep injury, respectively, and that both WR Josh Reynolds and CB Kevin Peterson were injured in the game, we might see some changes here.
Given their performance on Thursday, expect a lot of attention to be paid to QB Sean Mannion and that second-string offensive line. The starters will of course get the predominant attention, but recency bias and whatnot.
One thing to keep a note of is the physicality. The Rams have just five practices and three games until the regular season. So there’s not a substantial amount of time left to really amp things up. The risk, as always, is greater injury. There’s never a right answer, but that balance is something to keep note of given that 20 starters were rested on Thursday.
