Day 3 of Los Angeles Rams training camp was the final day without pads. Many vets including RB Todd Gurley, LT Andrew Whitworth, DL Ndamukong Suh, C John Sullivan and CB Aqib Talib got a break ahead of what is sure to be a spirited afternoon session tomorrow.
Injuries
TE Gerald Everett slow to get up after an apparent left shoulder injury. He’s not leaving the field, stretching it out to the side #RamsCamp

I’m really big on TE Gerald Everett, so I’m hoping this doesn’t set him back at all. Please believe I’m buying Young Gerald this year.
Pharoh Cooper said he had shoulder surgery after last season. He didn't want to say it, but it seems he was playing through major issues at the end of the year, including his fumble in the playoff game. More to come on that.

Will be interested to hear this story on KR/PR/WR Pharoh Cooper. Obviously, there’s going to be a bit of skepticism warranted here, but more than anything let’s just hope the Pharoh’s 100% for Week 1...physically and mentally.
Offense
Not a ton to glean today, though QB Luis Perez looked very shaky. Expected perhaps from a small school rookie, but there’s only so much time available for guys like him to make an impression.

Defense
Again, not a ton. QB Troy Hill filled in, though we saw that last year. Not as if we need camp to provide anything that actual game snaps didn’t tell us.
"With Coach Wade, it’s amazing. He’s allowing for us to go play fast + physical."

...and Special Teams!
I don’t normally have a section for teams, but there was some chatter about K Greg Zuerlein looking his normal self. That’s a pretty big one given that he ended his season on IR. GZ was on pace to set the single-season scoring record when he finally succumbed to his back issue, so if he can be his normal self this year, that’d be huge. Yes, that has to do with his accuracy but it also has to do with his range as someone that can kick 60-yarders.
Pads tomorrow. Stay tuned.
