Yesterday the Los Angeles Rams moved safety Lamarcus Joyner to the non-football injury (NFI) list, though it seems it was quite a short stay for Joyner:
Lamarcus Joyner is expected to come off the non-football injury list today, per a source.

Obviously it didn’t seem like there was some sort of serious injury to worry about. This likely means Joyner failed the conditioning test as the Rams had it yesterday (Wednesday).
It’s good news for Joyner as he’s once again in a contract season playing on the franchise tag ($11.287 million). Joyner and his camp will look for another strong season at safety in Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips’ system as he potentially heads into free agency.
Here’s another interesting tidbit:
Lamarcus Joyner is off the non-football injury list, per the Rams' roster. What's somewhat interesting is that Aaron Donald is not (yet) listed as "did not report," as he was a year ago.

This could mean absolutely nothing at all, but it’s interesting nevertheless. This has been an ongoing situation for both sides for a while now as star DL Aaron Donald is looking for a major payday, reportedly in the quarterback contract range.
The Rams officially kickoff camp today with practice beginning at 3:00pm P.T.
