The Los Angeles Rams are now past the midway point of organized team activities (OTAs) today with OTA #6 the last such session of the week.

Four more remain next week from Monday to Thursday before the optional mandatory minicamp the following week preceding the summer break. Suffice to say, we’re nearing the end of Phase III of the offseason program which means we’re closer to football.

Yay.

Injuries/no-shows

Nothing new on this front, thankfully. CB Aqib Talib returned and WR Brandin Cooks got back in the mix. So it’s just the trio of ILB Mark Barron, OLB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and OLB Morgan Fox out injured with DL Aaron Donald still holding out.

Performance

Rookie EDGE Justin Lawler and 2016 Rams Rookie of the Year ILB Cory Littleton are taking snaps with the first-string defense. Worth noting as we head toward training camp where we’ll get more clarity on how the depth chart is shaking out on both sides.

Ooh, I just thought about training camp position battles and got a little excited.

OTA #6 is a go!
