The Los Angeles Rams held their rookie minicamp tryout this weekend. While we won’t know the official roster of the players who were invited to participate, the team announced six players they have signed in its wake:
- Kent State Golden Flashes RB Nick Holley
- Colorado Buffaloes S Afolabi Laguda
- Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm TE Codey McElroy
- Oklahoma Sooners S Steven Parker
- Texas A&M-Commerce Lions QB Luis Perez
- Rice Owls DE Brian Womac
It’s an interesting group. McElroy is a phenomenal athlete. Parker has big game experience having played at OU with 2018 NFL Draft fifth-round pick Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. And Perez’s backstory is as inspiring as any as you’ll find in camp this year.
With the seven previously announced UDFA signings, this group bring the roster up to 89 players. Rookies arrived at HQ yesterday with Phase III of the offseason program, including organized team activities, set to begin next week.
