Los Angeles Rams General Manager is anything but predictable. And the second pick from the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft is pretty obvious evidence.
After doubling up on offensive linemen, many fans were hoping to finally get that linebacking help either on the inside or at the edge. Instead, Snead went out to the edges of the draft world to bring in a name that very few have looked into:
Stephen F. Austin DL John Franklin-Myers
What do I know about John Franklin-Myers? Nothing! Where have I seen him? Nowhere!
Here’s a random tweet from friend of TST, Charles McDonald:
spoke to stephen f. austin DL john franklin-myers and he said that the giants old NASCAR package is what got him interested in defensive line play.

he plans to run a sub 4.7 40 and sub 7.2 3 cone at 280 pounds. he wore #13 because his girl wore #13 for the soccer team
It’s as good a time as any to remind fans that the draft is an unknowable beast. That certain prospect won’t fall or that some prospect is a reach doesn’t line up with reality. We start from a place of assumption and reality ends up tearing that down and yet we argue with reality. It’s fun and stupid and fun.
Welcome to the Rams, John Franklin-Myers!
