This week, Joe (@3k_) and I (@MightyOrMisone) are joined by SB Nation NFL Draft Editor, Dan Kadar (@MockingTheDraft).
We discuss the Los Angeles Rams offseason moves thus far and how they set the Rams up for the 2018 NFL Draft in two weeks. On paper, the only position that appears to need to be addressed is the linebacker position and coincidentally — or maybe not — that appears to be where the focus has been with visits, so far.
However with contracts expiring and an aging LT in Andrew Whitworth, should the Rams focus on the future in the draft? After all, it is Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips' MO to not put to much stock in the linebacker position (excluding the edge) and to develop little-known talents. Could a left tackle or cornerback be the Rams’ first pick at 87? Could they move up in the draft and try to get back into the second round? All seems possible knowing this team and the way they move.
We will discuss all of this with Dan and what draft prospects might be sleepers. There's always some draft gold that goes unnoticed or overlooked. Plus are the Rams legitimate Super Bowl contenders? We've seen super teams before that didn't work out. What makes the Rams different?
All this and more tonight’s episode of Turf Show Radio at 9pm ET/6pm PT.
