Just two days remain in the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, and while it’s been the offensive prospects getting the attention thus far today’s going to be all about the defense:
2018 NFL Scouting Combine - Day 6 Schedule
Group | Status |
---|---|
Group | Status |
Group 7 (DL), Group 8 (DL), Group 9 (LB) | On-Field Workout (timing, stations, drills) | Departure from Indianapolis |
Group 10 (DB), Group 11 (DB) | Psychological Testing | NFLPA Meeting | Media | Bench Press | Interviews |
So we’ve got the front seven hitting the field while DBs run through the media circuit. Should be a fun day from the Los Angeles Rams’ perspective.
Given the recent report of the Rams’ trade with the Miami Dolphins sending EGDE Robert Quinn to south Florida, edge rushing prospects will obviously deserve some attention. The possibility of cutting ILB Mark Barron as a cap casualty to free up space should also put ILB prospects in focus.
With the 2018 NFL Draft less than two months away and free agency opening up a week from Wednesday, things are going to heat up quickly. So enjoy a lazy Sunday with the combine. Not going to get any slower from here on out.
