Los Angeles Rams on the run for Odell Beckham Jr?

Could this trade seriously happen?

If you don’t think the Los Angeles Rams are serious in their pursuit of New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr., think again:

Things seem to heating up after a report came out yesterday that the Rams were sniffing around adding the star WR.

This is truly becoming mind-blowing. On one hand the Rams can acquire one of the best WR’s in the NFL, and arguably the most explosive and game-breaking weapon in the league. On the other hand the Rams front office will once again have to deal with a young star looking for a massive payday (remind you of anyone?).

I am in favor of the pursuit. The Rams offense was potent and dangerous last year, and while I don’t think losing Sammy Watkins will destruct that offense, an improvement to a player like OBJ is insane. OBJ is on pace for one of the best paces in NFL WR history, with maybe only Randy Moss keeping pace (or out ahead).

What do the Rams have to give up? Well it seems Ian Rapoport suggests that the Rams are fine with parting with the 23rd overall pick, and after that is really an unknown, though it is likely something else would be going to New York.

One thing’s for sure, the Rams aren’t just going to sit back and hope a Super Bowl falls to them - they’re going for gold.
