If the Los Angeles Rams were hopeful they’d land Ndamukong Suh, the New York Jets - who emerged late last week as the highest bidder for the free agent defensive tackle - appear to have heightened their chances.
The Jets have rescinded their offer to Ndamukong Suh, Johnson said.

Following today’s owner’s meeting, Jets’ CEO Christopher Johnson spoke to reporters, stating “our thinking just changed a bit.” Johnson declined to go into specifics as to why, but it takes his team, who had to have been serious contenders considering they were willing to shell out the most cash, out of the running.
It’s good news for the Rams, who have been rumored to be a serious consideration following his meeting with the coaches last Tuesday — especially regarding the financial aspect, where Suh just lost leverage.
One would think, given that Suh’s travels have come to a close, that it’s possible a decision will be made as early as Sunday evening. Stay tuned.
