Not gonna lie. I thought the Los Angeles Rams would sign an inside linebacker when free agency happened last week.
I was wrong.
Tonight, the Rams announced they’ve agreed to terms with former Kansas City Chiefs ILB Ramik Wilson.

The former Georgia Bulldog was a fourth-round pick for the Chiefs in the 2015 NFL Draft. He broke into the rotation in his second year in 2016, but the Chiefs traded for Reggie Ragland last year and he eventually edged Wilson out of the mix.
Wilson joins a thinner position depth chart with the Rams after having traded ILB Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants two weeks ago. He’ll likely battle with ILB Cory Littleton and potentially a rookie for a starting spot alongside ILB Mark Barron in camp.
As it stands, the Rams crossed off one of their obvious roster needs that could bet met in free agency as we sit just a bit more than a month away from the 2018 NFL Draft.
Welcome to the team, Ramik!
