While the remainder of the NFL was spending big money on attractive free agents, the Los Angeles Rams sat back and awaited the second round of free agency to kick in. The action is beginning to kick in for the Rams, who have former Seahawks RB Mike Davis in for a visit:
Davis is a RB entering his fourth year in the NFL, after spending stints with two NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks. Davis was originally drafted in 2015 in the fourth round by the 49ers.
Over his four years in the league, Davis has totaled 348 rushing yards and one total touchdown with majority of those statistics coming in the past season for the Seahawks. Davis started in six games in 2017.
This move seems to be a depth move, as the Rams recently tendered RB Malcolm Brown to have him return for at least another season. Davis could be added to the roster as camp-competition for UDFA Justin Davis.
We’ll have an update on the situation if there is any.
