Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Los Angeles Rams S Cody Davis is headed to the Jacksonville Jaguars:
Former Rams DB Cody Davis goes from the Rams to the Jaguars, according to his agent @JordanWoy

So ends a successful five-year run for the Texas Tech product who originally came up as an undrafted free agent after the 2013 NFL Draft.
Davis never did find much playing time as a defender. Between Darian Stewart and Rodney McLeod and T.J. McDonald and Maurice Alexander and finally Lamarcus Joyner and John Johnson, Davis always found himself stuck behind talented players manning the top two safety spots on the depth chart. He was a regular in special teams though where he contributed well to ST Coordinator John Fassel’s unit that ranks as one of the NFL’s best annually.
We’ll have to see if he’s able to get a look on a very talented defense in Jacksonville with Barry Church and Tashaun Gipson the returning starters.
As it stands, it’s yet another well-known figure from the Fisherball era exiting as Head Coach Sean McVay and Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips continue to purge the roster from before their arrival.
Also, the Rams undervalue players in the secondary compared to the market.
