This week Joe (@3k_) and I (@MightyOrMisone) have one final look back on the Los Angeles Rams’ 2017 season before moving on to the 2018 offseason as the 2018 scouting combine is right around the corner.
We felt it was only fitting to look at the end of the season one last time as it was such a good year. We saw not one but two Cinderella teams emerge, in the form of the Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. We saw quarterbacks might grow on trees after all as this seemed like the year of the backup with guys like Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum and Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles step up and ball out. And we saw Rams RB Todd Gurley put forth an MVP caliber season.
We also touch on impending Rams free agents a bit. Guys like CB Trumaine Johnson and S Lamarcus Joyner as well as WR Sammy Watkins. What does the future hold for the Rams’ key starters with expiring contracts?
We then look forward to the combine and the 2018 NFL Draft and even discuss some NFL Hall of Fame things.
It was a great year of football, and now we enter the longest offseason in sports.
But the good news is, you still got us and TSR!
