Two new names popped up today on Chicago’s side of the injury report.

The Los Angeles Rams are set to finish their two-game road swing against the Chicago Bears in Week 14.

The Rams’ side is pretty, let’s say, boring:

Nothing of note. We knew that the Rams will be without RB Malcolm Brown for the rest of the 2018 season with a shoulder injury. That leaves the job to RB Justin Davis and rookie RB John Kelly which Rams Head Coach Sean McVay discussed today:

Really, that’s what practice is for. There were some things that, fortunately, you can learn from the mistakes and then a lot of good things, too, where the week is always a progression for us. Usually, you’re a little bit more stressed early on and then as the week builds and you get the full gameplan in and get a chance to learn from the good, the bad, continue to repeat things. That’s always the goal is to feel as comfortable as possible on Sunday, so guys can go out and play with a quieted mind. If they’ve got to step in, if Todd needs a blow, then both those guys will be ready to go.

As for the Bears, it’s a much more notable report:

Here’s what they had to say about the Friday surprises over at Windy City Gridiron, the SB Nation community for Bears fans:

This injury news came out of nowhere...

The Chicago Bears are listing starting free safety Eddie Jackson as questionable with a shin injury. He practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday, but he was held out today as they practiced inside on artificial turf. When asked about Jackson missing practice, head coach Matt Nagy said that he was “just giving him a little bit of a rest day, nothing major at all.”

The Bears also list defensive tackle Bilal Nichols as questionable after being limited in practice today with his knee issue. Nichols being limited on Friday’s has become the norm these last few weeks, as well as being limited when the Bears practice indoors, so I’m not concerned with him, or Jackson for that matter, missing Sunday’s game.
