The Los Angeles Rams last year played against the Philadelphia Eagles in which QB Carson Wentz tore his ACL. Today, sources have told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport that the Eagles are concerned about Carson Wentz’s availability due to a back injury.
#Eagles QB Carson Wentz, dealing with a back issue, is not expected to play this week, sources say. Depending on the result, given the time of year, Wentz may not play again in 2018. The team is still gathering info on his health.

When asked about Wentz’s practice schedule for Wednesday, Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson said Wentz would sit out with back “soreness” and “tightness.”
“We’re going to focus on today, get through today,” Pederson said when asked if there’s a chance Wentz misses this game, “and see where he is at the end of the day.”
If he’s not able to go, the Eagles will go back to Super Bowl hero and former Rams QB Nick Foles to try and keep the 6-7 Eagles’ playoff chances and Super Bowl defense alive. Foles has already been told to be “ready to play” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

With the Rams trying to get back on track after their loss against the Chicago Bears last week on Sunday Night Football, an unfortunate injury could be helpful for LA’s confidence.
