Can the Rams trust their defense? | Pro Football Talk

The Rams defense is inconsistent, even within the same game. You don’t know if they’re going to come up with the stop, or if they’re going to get distracted and allow a 71-yard game sealing touchdown. Will Wade Phillips be able to figure out the puzzle and give us the defense that we were promised in the pre-season hype? I hope so, or else it’s going to be a short play-off run again this season.

Are We Worried About the Rams or Impressed By the Saints? | The Ringer

Definitely the latter. The Rams put on an impressive show that came up short, but while there are some improvements to be made, especially on defense, I think taking the sky is falling in Los Angeles point of view takes away from a very impressive Drew Brees and New Orleans Saints squad.
