The Los Angeles Rams are out of the bye week and headed north to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 13.
And as has been the case for about two years, things just continue to look incredibly favorable on the injury front:
2018 LA Rams Week 13 injury report
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
---|---|---|---|
Name | POS | Injury | Wed. Status |
John Sullivan | C | Not Injury Related | DNP |
Andrew Whitworth | T | Not Injury Related | DNP |
Ethan Westbrooks | DL | Illness | DNP |
It’s almost trolling at this point.
Of course the major news here is that the report doesn’t include RB Todd Gurley who was injured early on in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Rams Head Coach Sean McVay said on Monday that Gurley was expected to be 100%, so not a surprise. Still, good to affirm with his absence on the injury report.
The Lions placed WR Marvin Jones, Jr. on injured reserve this week leading to this injury report:

Kerryon Johnson | RB | Knee | DNP |
Bruce Ellington | WR | Back | Limited |

Michael Roberts | TE | Shoulder | Limited |
Here’s what they had to say about the report over at Pride of Detroit, the community for Lions fans:
With the Los Angeles Rams coming to town, the Lions will need all the help they can get to keep up with LA’s high-powered offense.
Unfortunately, they may be without two of their biggest offensive contriubtors on Sunday. Marvin Jones Jr. was already placed on injured reserve earlier in the week, and rookie running back Kerryon Johnson looks like he could miss his second-straight game with a knee injury. Johnson did not practice on Wednesday, indicating that he’s still struggling through the injury suffered against the Panthers.
Additionally, fullback Nick Bellore missed practice with an ankle injury.
In better news, Ezekiel Ansah is off the injury report for the first time since suffering his Week 1 shoulder injury. Ansah’s playing time has been steadily going up since returning to play against the Vikings, but each week he was limited in practice. Now that he’s off the injury report completely, it will be interesting to see if he will not only get a full set of snaps against the Rams, but notch his first start since Week 1.
The Rams will hold a walkthrough tomorrow, but we’ll get an injury report nonetheless.
