This is certainly not the start the Los Angeles Rams were hoping for...but the Rams still lead it 17-14 at half.
The Seattle Seahawks seem to be running the ball at will, and are perfectly content to do so.
Penalty flags are flying...and they’re all heading in the Rams’ direction. They tallied THREE personal foul penalties in the first half, and that makes five PF’s in the last five quarters. That, as they say in the biz, is some 7-9 bullshit.
Aaron Donald, however, is not killing the Rams. He’s got two sacks on Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson in the first half.
The Rams’ offense, as usual, is looking good. Todd Gurley is picking up chunks of yardage every time he touches the ball, and ultimately helped the Rams take the lead late in the 2nd quarter.
So, as it stands, the Rams’ offense is (once again) keeping the team in the game, and the defense, collectively, is struggling (once again).
Do your halftime thing, Wade. And please start doing it before the game(s) too.
