Week 5 approval poll: LA Rams HC Sean McVay

Make room on the bandwagon because McVay is showing no signs of letting up

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Not including preseason games (and really.... who does?) Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay has coached 21 games since being hired last January. What he has been able to do in that time continually impresses anyone who has been paying attention.

Rams fans have suffered through the likes of Scott Linehan, Steve Spagnuolo, and Jeff Fisher for years... McVay seems too good to be true. But yet here we are... with a coaching star in the making and a Super Bowl contender at hand.

McVay has taken a perpetually underachieving Rams team and created something special - but he isn’t beyond reproach. There are still times where Todd Gurley isn’t utilized as often in the run game and occasions where you can clearly tell that McVay is an inexperienced coach.

Does the good outweigh the bad? Absolutely! Should we be enjoying this 4-0 start? Hell yea!

But we should still note the few discrepancies that we see at this point in McVay’s career lest we fall prey to stagnation.
