ILB Mark Barron will return on Sunday while K Greg Zuerlein remains out
Mark Barron will provide some much needed help at the linebacker position as he returns by his nagging achilles injury. We haven’t seen Barron on the field at all this season, so this is big news — this is a guy with a big contract that has played well the past couple seasons. Barron will most likely line up next to ILB Cory Littleton while ILB Ramik Wilson’s role shifts to a rotational player.
So this defense will finally get Mark Barron back in the next week or two, and the offense will get back the best K in football. This team is a damn problem.

Barron's speed on defense + Littleton gives them versatility on run downs + tons of speed to run and chase.
Rams hire a new temp kicker and kicks Ficken to the curb
Hello Cairo Santos, and goodbye Sam Ficken. This move is essentially a band-aid until we get Greg Zuerlein back, yet I like this move a lot. The 26-year-old kicker from Brazil was an undrafted free agent that was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs and also played for the Chicago Bears.
The LA Rams are the top NFL team in most power rankings
That’s good news for the Los Angeles Rams, right? The team has been scoring high marks all month, so spirits are high going into the middle of the season.
The Rams’ defensive line is leading the NFL in pressures
Pro Football Talk ran a piece about the impressive intimidation that the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive line are serving up against opposing teams. Despite only 8 team sacks on the season, the Rams are pressuring the opposing QB more than any other team with a pressure rate of 41.4 percent.

Now all of this praise comes in conflict with a main criticism of the 2018 Rams: their lack of a decent pass rush.
One concern about Rams ... do they have enough pass rush? I know they got there late, which was huge. But Cousins did whatever he wanted for most of the game.

Rams offense gets their due respect
QB Jared Goff did the Rams faithful a solid by having his best game in his sweet throwback jersey. And don’t forget to get your System QB shirt!

This throw did a fantastic job winning over the hearts of those who were still skeptical about the upside of Jared Goff.

Todd Gurley II and Goff got some love with the David Carr’s list of offensive players on NFL.com.
As much as Goff’s week was great, Patrick Mahomes II got a LOT of love
"The question every week is what he can't do. I don't have the answer. Seemingly, no one does. Instead of constantly searching for it, let's just enjoy the moment. It's been awesome. Buckle up. Have a cigar. Enjoy the ride." @PSchrags on the rise of @PatrickMahomes5.@Chiefs pic.twitter.com/GGQOm1vO2q

That Monday Night Football game in Mexico City can’t come fast enough (November 19th.)
Offensive numbers have skyrocketed in the first month of this #NFL season. What accounts for this incredible spike in production?@DannyBKelly: https://t.co/N6DKYHpinT
