System quarterback Jared Goff had another solid outing this past Sunday, as he lead the Los Angeles Rams to their eighth straight victory against the Green Bay Packers. And as a result of his strong performance, he’s been nominated as a candidate for Week 8’s FedEx Air Player of the Week award. Vote now!
Goff finished up the weekend with 295 yards, three touchdowns, and a 111.0 passer rating on 19-35 throwing. This marks the third time in 2018 that Goff has been nominated for the award — falling short of winning it in back-to-back weeks (3 and 4) earlier this season.
He’ll have some stiff competition this week, as two-time award winner (Weeks 2 and 7) Patrick Mahomes finished Week 8 with 303 passing yards, four touchdowns (with 1 INT), and 125.0 rating in a winning effort against the Denver Broncos.
Lastly, some nobody named Tom Brady is nominated for his 324 yard, whopping 0 touchdown performance. Do NOT vote for him.
