This week is about Todd Gurley — the Offensive Player of the Week
A lot of love has been thrown at RB Todd Gurley, and deservedly so.

Todd Gurley is talked about a lot when it comes to the MVP this season, which is a big deal for a running back. Turf Show Times believes that the offensive line is not getting nearly the credit, which shouldn’t take away Gurley’s accomplishments. So, what we’re really saying is: Andrew Whitworth for MVP. But look at these numbers for Gurley:
Todd Gurley’s 2018 season pace:
— NFL Research (@NFLResearch) October 19, 2018
• 1,661 rush yards
• 24 rush TD
• 2,320 scrimmage yards
• 29 scrimmage TD
The average season of the 18 RBs to win NFL #MVP:
• 1,595 rush yards
• 15 rush TD
• 1,897 scrimmage yards
• 17 scrimmage TD@TG3II #Rams @RamsNFL
Will the Rams’ offense feel different with Robert Woods at slot receiver?
WR Cooper Kupp has been a staple in Coach Sean McVay’s offense, so it’s hard to know what it’ll look like with Kupp sitting out for an extended period. With Robert Woods filling in for Kupp, should you break out your Josh Reynolds jersey? Or could Kupp’s replacement be at tight end? A Young Gerald breakout perhaps? The Rams’ offense this season without Kupp is an unknown... so it’s a story.
Something to keep an eye on for the Rams: Cooper Kupp is OUT for Sunday, and the Rams' top backup Josh Reynolds was limited today because of a hand injury, per the Rams' injury report.

Rivarly game — these two fanbases hate each other
This away game against the San Francisco 49ers has a lot of pride on the line with the fans of both teams. The injury report, btw, is pretty long for the 49ers.

And uniforms. Gotta talk about the uniforms.

But in all seriousness, this game could come down to coaching. These are two guys that are very familiar with each other’s coaching styles and this could turn into an exciting chess match.
