The Los Angeles Rams’ offense, through six weeks of play, has shown it can do just about anything to opposing defenses; whether it be through the air or in their run game. And this past Sunday against the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium, it was running back Todd Gurley that put the offense on his back and carried the team to victory.
The league’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year ran the ball 28 times on Sunday, totaling 208 yards (good for 7.4 yards per carry). He scored both of the team’s touchdowns on their way to a 23-20 win.
Gurley did his part, and now it’s time for you to do yours, as he’s been nominated for the NFL’s Week 6 FedEx Ground Player of the Week — go here to vote now! You may be able to vote more than once, so if you’ve got a few minutes, feel free to click away.
JTG’s competition this Week is Los Angeles Chargers’ Melvin Gordon, who rushed for 132 yards and three scores against the against the Cleveland Browns and Vikings’ RB Latavius Murray who had one score and 155 rushing yards against the Cardinals.
This game marked the first game of Gurley’s young career in which he eclipsed 200 rushing yards, obviously setting a career high. Make sure he’s rewarded for his efforts and vote a time or 10.
