Andrew Whitworth to play in 2018 Pro Bowl

It will be the third consecutive appearance for the Rams LT

Andrew Whitworth quickly earned the respect of Los Angeles Rams fans, players, and coaches alike after signing with the team this past offseason. Originally named an alternate for the 2018 Pro Bowl, Whitworth will be playing in the game after Washington Redskins LT Trent Williams announced that he will not be playing in the game due to injury.

Whitworth joins teammates Todd Gurley, Aaron Donald, Johnny Hekker, Greg Zuerlein, and Pharoh Cooper as Rams named to the Pro Bowl. That list may grow as Jared Goff is likely to replace an injured Carson Wentz and Trumaine Johnson is a second alternate at CB.

The Rams’ good showing in fan voting is a direct effect from their surprising 11-5 finish to the 2017 NFL season. It may have not ended as we all envisioned, but it shows that the Rams are primed for success in 2018 and beyond - and that’s something Rams fans can get excited about over what is sure to be a busy offseason for the Rams.
