The Los Angeles Rams got off to a slow start. Fueled by two Pharoh Cooper turnovers, the Atlanta Falcons leapt out to an early 13-0 lead.
But the Rams weren’t going to be denied. Todd Gurley busted a big run and turned the momentum. Jared Goff dropped a perfect pass to Cooper Kupp in the end zone to put the Rams on the board. Then Robert Woods had an amazing catch as the half wound down.
After much clarification by Ed Hochuli, the 1st half closed with a Sam Ficken field goal to send us to halftime with the Falcons up 13-10. It was an interesting close to what was a wild first half.
Sean McVay’s Rams have excelled in the 3rd quarter all season. They seemed to be holding back some in the 1st half. No Gurley screens. Limited blitzes by Wade Phillips. That’s going to change when the 2nd half kicks off.
It’s going to be wild. It’s going to be fun.
Enjoy it Rams Fans.
