It’s time for the 2018 NFL Playoffs to begin.
The Tennessee Titans are on the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in an early AFC matchup that should set the tone for the sheer finality that the playoffs bring. In just a few hours, one of these two teams’ season will be over.
It stands as a pretty tall test for Tennessee. They’re on the road in what is sure to be a raucous crowd at Arrowhead. They hit a tailspin into the playoffs avoiding a four-game losing streak by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17. QB Marcus Mariota’s last four games have been wildly inconsistent, but perhaps he’s on his game today and oversee a big offensive day.
For the Chiefs, they were perhaps the roller coaster team of the 2017 season. A five-game win streak to open the year with a four-game win streak to close it out sandwiching a 1-6 streak in the middle...who are the 2017 Chiefs? Are they the team we saw open the season flying to the top of power rankings or the team that nearly collapsed entirely? Do the rumors about a potential trade of QB Alex Smith on playoff gameday have any effect?
Let the playoffs begin...
