Rams snapper Jake McQuaide named to Pro Bowl for second year | LA Times

For the second year in a row, Long snapper Jake McQuaide was named to the Pro Bowl. It’s the beard, isn’t it? Has to be the beard. Last year, Jake was the first long snapper in the history of the Rams franchise to make it to the Pro Bowl. So, now he is the first in Rams history to make it twice. I just made you read that.

In case you can’t get through the LA Times paywall, long snapper Jake McQuaide, aka: Elder High School standout, has made it to the Pro Bowl again. McQuaide is also a graduate of Ohio State. Ohio is very proud of Jake.

Todd Gurley named PFWA offensive player of the year | Rams official site

The Pro Football Writers of America know what’s up, awarding the offensive honor to RB Todd Gurley. Gurley is the first Rams player to be named PFWA Offensive Player of the Year since Hall of Fame RB Marshall Faulk in 2001, and the first RB since the Dallas CowboysDeMarco Murray received the award in 2014.
