Los Angeles Rams LS Jake McQuaide has been selected to participate in the 2018 NFL Pro Bowl:

A seven-year veteran, McQuaide has been a mainstay at long snapper for the Rams since 2011. His steady work finally saw him make the Pro Bowl for the first time last season.

It is at this point that I am struggling to write sufficient words about long snapping in order for Google to recognize this for search results and provide sufficient page clicks to register TST in daily algorithm pickups so here’s some links to the season previews I’ve written about McQuaide which are very important pieces of literary history.

In 2015, my preview used a bunch of movie posters of very bad movies. In 2016, I noted McQuaide’s heroic acts over the years. And this last year, I uh...look, McQuaide’s a great long-snapper, but this is tough to keep going.

So keep going, Jake McQuaide! And congratulations on a second consecutive Pro Bowl!
