This week’s show marks a time for celebration. We are celebrating because we finally know why Joe (@3k_) has a random ass underscore on his twitter handle, and I (@MightyOrMisone) am ecstatic!

But no, really it is a time for celebration. After recording the podcast a couple of times over the last couple of days due to technical difficulties, we finally got a good one on deck. It’s all because we have made it to week one. Football is back. More specifically Rams football is back.

This week we recap the preseason, and the move made in the offseason from the hiring of Head Coach Sean McVay to the most recent moves in the cut down to the 53-man roster and a trade for a new tight end. We discuss roles, and expectations for usage, as well as the kind of personnel we expect to be played the most.

We dive into the role of WR Tavon Austin, newly acquired TE Derek Carrier, expectations for QB Jared Goff, and the impacts of WR Sammy Watkins and RB Todd Gurley.

We also talk defense and the likelihood that they will have to carry the team in McVay’s first year implementing the offense. But also, we cover what we should expect from the new additions from both the 2017 NFL Draft and free agency.

This week’s show is a time for celebration indeed especially since it has been confirmed Joe is old, and I like fancy tea and creating concoctions of awesomeness that touch your soul when your drink it.
