As the Los Angeles Rams inch towards their first regular season game in six days, they continue to shape their roster for the season. The team announced on Monday that they had re-signed DT Louis Trinca-Pasat to the practice squad. Trinca-Pasat was waived when the Rams were awarded three players off of waivers on Sunday.
After missing all of last season due to a torn ACL, some time on the practice squad will be helpful to shape LTP into a useful rotation player.
In other news, the love affair with WR Nelson Spruce has come to an end. The Rams announced on Monday they had reached an injury settlement with the fan favorite, who was waived as part of roster cut downs on Saturday.
Spruce burst onto the scene last pre-season with an incredible 4th Quarter performance against the Dallas Cowboys. But as fate would have it, that has been the highlight of his NFL career so far, as he missed every other game last season. So as we say good-bye to Spruce, he’ll always be in our hearts.
